Core Incubator is looking for new talents to strengthen its developer team in order to create exciting new web and mobile based projects. We’re looking for a Developer in our Engineering team and offer the possibility to join a fast growing environment dedicated to creating great projects using the best tools and technologies available. We’re offering a permanent job at our office in Zagreb, Croatia. What is the role of a Developer? As a Developer you’re responsible for the production, modification and maintenance of web applications. This involves working closely with designers and project managers in order to develop new concepts and plan activities. You’ll also work closely with server-side developers to implement server-side code in order to create complex and interactive web based applications. As a Developer you’ll also be responsible for: - providing accurate timing estimates on work - contributing to documentation (instructional, pitch and technical specification) - train other non-technical staff particularly designers - contributing to the company development standards - discussing technical solutions and providing innovative new ideas to solutions - maintaining a high awareness of industry issues and trends, particularly in regard to accessibility, usability, and emerging technologies, and keep team members informed as appropriate, with a view to incorporating these in future projects and staying ahead of the market and position yourself and the company as a digital specialist - constantly seeking to develop yourself by learning new technologies and keeping abreast of your markets developments

Skills and experience necessary for this role: - exceptional JavaScript programming skills - understanding and interest in developing Node.js applications - very good XHTML and CSS programming skills - experience with Node.js and Socket.io - experience working with version control systems such as GIT - experience with Ubuntu and AWS is a plus Required work experience: We would like to see at least two years of working experience.
